What is a Home Health Aide? A Home Health Aide is a health care provider who is trained to assist people who need assistance in their homes to stay independent or  need continuing care to be cared for in their homes  by a home health aide and other home care professionals.

RIGHT ACCORD TRAINING CENTER is an training center dedicated to helping your educational goals of  becoming a health care provider.  We are licensed to provide Home Health Aide Certification  Course 40 Hours for Private Care and Home Health Aide Certification Course 75 Hours for Certified  Medicare/Medicaid Agency employment. Right Accord Training Center is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education and approved by the Florida Board of Nursing.

Many Home Health Aides are employed by home health agencies. Home Health Agencies are businesses that provide health care and personal care services in the home. Personal care services may include assisting with activities of daily living, shopping, cooking and housekeeping.

Right Accord Training Center is affiliated with Right Accord Private Duty-Home Health Care, a Home Health Care Agency serving the Sarasota and Manatee counties providing private pay in-home care assistance to seniors who prefers to stay at home. We also provide one to one assistance with elderly in assisted living facilities or place of residence.

Hospitals and other health care organizations are experiencing nursing shortage which according to experts can become severe including the need for Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, Homemakers and Companions.  Latest employment survey list the career of health care jobs is one of the fastest growing jobs in the United States. The increasing demand for health care jobs is due to several factors such as sicker patients from acute care facilities, individuals living longer, and the less availability of health care providers with a longer, and the less availability of health care providers with a higher level of skill to perform more routine and complex tasks.

The Home Health Aide Program is offered several times throughout the year. For more information regarding our class schedules, please view our ‘course calendar’.  The Home Health Aide Program prepares you to be able to work with private pay clients or to work with Certified Medicare/Medicaid Home Health Agencies.

The RN Instructors has served as staff development and nurse educators in different health care settings and are well versed with Home Health Aide  mandatory requirements. The competency skills evaluation are used regularly in health care settings and you will find this as an initial challenge with every health care job.
